A couple weekends ago when I was home, I made crepes for breakfast for my family. I told my mom how much I loved the pan she had, and that next week, she had ordered one for me! Such a nice surprise - thanks Mom for the beautiful pan! I've already broken it in making crepes, and potato latkes...mmmm

Spring Updates
My brother and niece visited with us a couple weeks ago and I decided to take on making them a Cafe Rio dinner: sweet pork barbacoa burrito of course!
Thomas bought me these beautiful daffodils - my favorite! So bright and cheerful
Just some cute pics of Quilbert - Thomas says it looks like a baby announcement!
Lego time!
Our new mini figures this month were Mr. waiter man and Dr. Jekyll/Mr. Hyde
50 Jones caps got us a free backpack from Jones!
The highlight of the month was flying home for my best friend's wedding. I visited with family while home as well - it was a great weekend:
Took the dogs to the beach. I miss all that green!
My Chicas!
Visiting with family: Juliana made me this penguin drawing.
The cutie-patootie Miss Emily
Made banana caramel crepes one morning
A walk in the botanical garden:
Thomas and I found a restaurant near Salt Lake that sells Monte Cristo's! It was quite tasty! Nothing beats Disneyland, but these definitely compared!
I made a creme cheese strawberry pie for a friend's birthday!

April Showers Bring Spring Flowers
A recap of our Easter weekend included a pinic, strawberry shortcake making, Easter program at church (I love Easter music!), and dinner with great friends. AND I got to wear a new dress (which I'm also wearing to best friend's wedding this month :)
Such a beautiful day for a picnic!
Quilly had a nice walk
My new dress!
Thomas made these cute little no bake nests
For primary, we did a combined singing/sharing time and we did "Resurrection Eggs." I remember doing this as a kid and loved it
I was in charge of dessert for our Easter dinner, so I took advantage of buying a huge thing of strawberries from Costco and made strawberry shortcake! Turned out yummy if I do say so myself :)
Took leftovers into work the next day!
And while we are talking about food, we had chocolate chip waffles tonight for dinner, with nothing else but butter, strawberries, and homemade whipped creme. I love food.
