A Days of Thanks and Bloated Stomachs

November flew by!  There was the primary program on the 11th, first snowfall, work trips to New Jersey/NYC and Denver, Thanksgiving, and we decorated our place for Christmas!  Among other things, we have been working on some stained glass projects (with help of Stacy) almost every Sunday evening.

Our humble little feast for two :)

Oh how I love the snow!

Our little place is Christmas ready!

Today was the children's primary program.  They did fantastic!  I was so proud of them!! I am so pleased it went well, and not to brag - but a few people said it was the most organized and best one they have every seen!
I did a little something to help motivate them with learning their program songs.  I made a board with each song to learn, and an ice cream topping to go along.  They had to work their way up to earn that topping, and then we would have an ice cream party (we we had yesterday) with those toppings.  They worked so hard and I'm just so proud of those kids!

Real vs. Sounders

Recently we went to the MLS playoffs with Moroni and Stacy.  It was Real Salt Lake vs. Seattle Sounders. This is tricky, because where do I stand when I originate from Seattle, but have lived in Utah the past 3 years and gone to numerous Real games?  To be honest, I love both teams, so it's a win-win for me :)

What do we do when we need to sneak in a bag of chips? Well, make Stacy prego of course!

It was a close game, but Sounders did win!

Halloween Happenings

An early celebration of Halloween last week for work.

An evening at Cornbelly's.  It was definitely more of a kid's thing, but there were still some fun things to do!

Hair change! (just temporary dye though!) I would have made a good peach, but Thomas just had to be Luigi!

At our ward's Trunk or Treat.  We kept candy in our handy question mark box!

Even Quilly had a costume!

He's so flippin cute!

Toad has a friend!

We wanted to make a public appearance, so Red Robin ended up being a good (and delicious) choice.

After too many refills and a couple Mad Libs later, we headed home to end the night with a few rounds of Mario Kart, and watch Hocus Pocus.  It was a good Halloween.
